1 year on newgrounds

Like said, my account is now 1 year old, how a lot happened during one year (lets ignore the fact that I just started being active on January) and I'm always thankful on how this community supports on what I like doing.

Yeah, drawing, sometimes playing videogames but you know the deal and here's a new drawing by me to commemorate the occasion:

I know, I know, my account created on April 1st but the NFT's joke made by Tom Fulp were really good that I decided to just start making jokes rather than preparing everything for that day (man people will think that my post is a joke or something), but well here to know the origins?

How it all started

Nah, I'm not a friday night funkin fan, even though I love some of the songs and played a bit I am not an entusiast of the game at all, all happened because of an ex-friend, who at the time was a freakin' fan of the game, showed me the site, at first I was like ha all the funnies are from here? I knew about the site already just because of tboi, castle crashers, alien hominid, bbt, Henry Stickmin and much more.

So I said, well time to give it a try, and everything was perfect, my objective at first was just being a gaming guy who collects medals, being the first game pico school because I saw it before on a video, my fault was that I played it on April 1st so you know the love conquers all joke game and I was like... damn that's not how I remember the game-

Days passed and I was just me playing games until I saw a news post by a dog (Jack) looking for artists for a game called Pico clicker, at the time I was thinking of becoming an artist on places like Instagram or twitter but those social medias were scary for me because of the horrible algorithm.

So I thought what if I start here, this doesn't look bad at all, and I created my first drawing, it got in the game and I was fascinated.

Time passes I wasn't such an expert so drawing was hard as I just draw with my finger, school at the time was also a pain in the ass so I had to be really inactive just by playing tboi even considering drawing as a waste of time at the moment (because of not knowing how to make my drawings good).

But then, it was December and people were enjoying the month, literally saw Tom Fulp making shoutouts to artists and giving away drawing tablets, the art collabs for the month, and lot happening it was such fun and felt guilty because of not making a lot by the time (the biggest thing was the responsability comic I made for a homework).

So you know by the start of the year I started on focusing only on drawings, improving, being active, working with others and making my life more productive, something that grew with more people knowing me, liking my art, I got scouted (thanks @s-zenmode I'm really grateful for it!!!), and lots of fun in life.

By the end we are here, near having 69 fans (nice!) *cough* I mean 100 fans and helping others with my big creativity.

What's next Phaox?

Most of my plans are coming to an end, so expect more of them to be published soon, for now I will focus on making my first animation, the one I told before in a new post, I know it will be hard but you won't know if you're going to do it good or bad if you don't try it!

I'm also waiting if I get selected on working for more important art but until now, just the animation, so knowing the work I'm going to make, there isn'tt going to be lot of new drawings, but don't worry I have lil things to fill my gallery that I haven't published + the next projects I already worked on.

50 fans!!!

Damn guys, I'm really happy on how far I've improved with my drawings and all the support each one of you gave me just to see my art, we are half from 100 people and I hope one day this account reach even further, but that's not the end, to commemorate this I made a small doodle of each of my fans in this drawing!!!

Kinda simple and rushed, sorry if it's not too detailed, I wanted to do something special while having other drawings and working planned in an schedule I have.

Well speaking of those things I'm working, I'll write some topics on this news post about it, so keep reading ahead to see what you're interested.

OC drawing

Yeah, I have oc's- I posted about one of them, Lucy, here but it didn't got lot of attention, well for two reasons I know:

1) I wasn't scouted that time

2) It's not the best of bests, the neck and face looks strange and the perspective is really bad

It was planned to be my first interaction with full body characters on December when I had some ideas + the creation of a comic my school asigned me to do, you can see the comic here, it's also not the best with body perspective but the colors are really good in my opinion.

So why I'm talking about this? it's to have some context about my next oc, Psyca, she also appeared on the comic but I wanted to make her a drawing with a background instead of a presentation, I love drawing backgrounds rather than characters so yep, it's looking really good what I have.

It's not finished but I'm looking forward to posting it next week with Psyca in it and adding the "Iconic" colors in lineart my most recent arts have, until now, there's only wait.

Game collab

If people don't know I'm participating on a collab with some of my drawings because I like doing that, for now I have references with madness and the drawing above (the cauldron if we're specific), hope everything goes well and people like it, I want to thanks @Mabelma for letting me in, I always wanted to be in a collab since December with the tankmas announcement I didn't participated because of time.

Beta tester?

Yeah, strange, I love playing games so it's another work I assume and treat with respect, giving feedback in things I can't help a lot (programming) always make me feel I'm helping with something, for now is something secret (?) so until the game releases I'm not going to show anything.

Creepy spaghetti collab

I'm not gonna miss it haha, I want to make something interesting I have in mind, this will be in work after I post the drawing about Psyca, until now I'll give a dumb clue about what I'm gonna draw "someone crying blood" cliché right?

Animation (the most risky thing I will do)

I don't have anything animated in my life, but I'm willing to start doing one for a collab I'm looking forward to help, but it's really really risky, I already have ideas but I don't know if it's going to be well, not having a drawing tablet it's the biggest problem as the animation is in flash, the other drawings are another problem, but I want to do it so working hard to do everything is my only option.

Outside the work

Remember about my last two drawings? (This one and this other) I don't like them a lot, that's because I drew them during my final evaluations, so that's why they look a bit off from the other ones which I put lot of more time because I was more free from school work.

Well, I finally end this school year until coming back in May (sadly) so noooo more homework I don't want to do and no more rushed drawings because of the lack of time.

That's also the reason why I have a lot of work planned to do on newgrounds rather than just posting random stuff I made, just hope to end everything during my vacations.

Extra

I finally bought castle crashers, ten out of ten, sadly I have little time to play it because of my drawings but it's ok, there's always time when I don't feel good to draw.

First of all I'm really happy about how pixel day ended, there were amazing posts from all places and that day gave me more recognition on newgrounds and all help is aprecciated because I want to grow with the best I like doing in this life, yep, drawing!!!

Primero que todo estoy muy feliz de como pixel day terminó, hubieron increíbles publicaciones de todos lugares y ese día me dió más reconocimiento aquí en newgrounds y toda la ayuda es apreciada porque siempre he querido crecer con lo que más me gusta hacer en esta vida, exactamente, dibujar!!!

Otra cosa, me gusta hacer pixel art así como ilustraciones pero creo que publicaré mas ilustraciones que pixel art, bueno arriba hay dos dibujos que hice hoy por un proyecto y otro para pasar el rato.

Today's christmas was kinda crazy, I had my first wallet, recieved two games from my brother who never done that before and I really appreciated it, also I'm a supporter for this month!!! thanks santa's alt account.

I'm still working on more drawings I have in mind to do so maybe something will come up soon, so that's all, take care!!!
